Happy New Year!

We had some pretty good potential from las nights incoming storm, but like a nearsighted kid at bat it went whiff.....

The coating of slush we received in the first part of the system was quickly erased by warming temperatures and a warm wind. Unfortunately the airport remains mostly green, so skiing is off the menu and things are way too soft and icy for fat biking. We are looking for a refreeze, which should happen tonight, and a bit of snow to add traction to the biking surfaces before riding commences. There is more potential for some snow towards the end of the week.
