NOVEMBER 17, 2025

I am sure all you fellow skiers have been watching the weather forecast over the last 24 hours intently.

Well I think the weather forecast dudes got into the Egg Nogg a bit early. Their forecast jumped around all over the place, predicting anywhere from all rain/mix to 2" to 18" of snow. The last I saw last night it was 3"-7" of snow by this morning. So far we got maybe a few powdery inches that is currently being blown by the north west winds that they did forecast correctly.

So no dice quite yet.

It is still snowing if it can stick to the ground.....Maybe.

We shall see.

The good news is that temps are seasonable, the weather pattern seems to be active and we are primed and ready. For November 17 we are on track.

Think snow.

Snowing out! I did roll out a little loop out front last night before I left because I just couldn’t help it but it’s quite thin and still wet underneath.

I thought about calling myself open today, but then I remembered I’m not full of crap.

I wouldn’t call a few inches of powder on top of wet grass good enough to be open.

That’s just not how I roll. Pun intended.

That being said, a determined skier, could make a few loops out of it.

It is cold out and snowing. So it is getting better with every flake. There is also a few inches of powder potential today and tomorrow.

Ski shop will be open this Saturday 10 AM to 3 PM.

Maybe we’ll have a decent loop to slide around on.

We have new gear in stock from Rossignol and Fischer and some great deals on equipment from last season.

Winter is upon us. We are off to a good start.

See u Saturday.

Happy Veterans Day. Thanks to all the veterans for serving their country over the last 249 years.

Waking up to a nice inch of snow over the airport field. While not enough to groom, snow is in the forecast just about every day this week. We are headed in the right direction.

It’s a nice winter scene outside A few more inches in the forecast today so we will see what happens.

Nice to have winter in the area.
