Hello Ole's Cross Country Skiers,
Summer is cruising right along and we are looking forward to the up coming winter season. I have taken a stroll on a few trails lately and even in the steamy summer woods, being out on the trails gave that familiar skiing itch.
There is plenty of work to take care of out there and believe it or not, skiing could only be a few short months away. I hope everyone's summer is going well so far. It has been a nice one out there with reasonable temperatures and solid stretches of fair weather.
The regular rain has made the scenery green and lush.
The Green Mountains certainly are very green.
Plenty of work to be done per normal out on the trails.
Trail work and general Ole's planning and scheming is set to ramp up and reach full blast over the next several weeks. I looking forward to getting some great skiing going again for another excellent season. Also looking forward to a few potential events this winter (stay tuned) and also expanding on our inside food and beverage services.
Pass holder's will receive exclusive discount on both inside and outside services.
If bought by "Early Bird" deadline you will enjoy the pass pricing of the season.
It is going to be another great season at Ole's!
Keep busy, stay fit and get yourself primed for another ski season.
I look forward to seeing everyone in just a few months up at Ole's.

With the strong sun and warmer temps yesterday the 2KM loop is ski-able but not enough so that I will call it open. With 97 days of skiing this season I am calling it as the end to another great season at Ole's Cross Country. Thanks to all the customers and people who support my work at Ole's. I appreciate you.
Ski shop is now closed for the season. Reach out with questions or off season needs.
Please Note that ALL of Ole's Trail System is closed to ALL off season use. Please respect this and our land owners generosity and do not trespass during the off season. Thanks!
Have a great Summer.

Day 97 today and the sun is shining over a beautiful new layer of snow. A little bit of snow overnight really helped to pretty up the trail once again. The inner loop (just shy of 2KM) was skiing nicely yesterday. All things considered. It is even better this morning. The loop is well covered this am with a few thin spots becoming more pronounced through out the day as things warm up. The strong March sunshine will soften the snow pack later for spring skiing. The bomber of layer that is on the ground, should be ski-able all day.
All the skiers that have come out have enjoyed it. Come up and enjoy the sunshine and get some late season laps in!
