From Winter Powder to Spring Corn snow
Good Morning, We got through yesterday's drizzle and are back to a frozen consolidated snow pack. Just ripe for peel away corn snow. Maybe my favorite. Despite the classic "Na' england" weather, the skiing yesterday was sweet, albeit a tad damp. The old K-22 Universal Klister, hastily spread last night, provided some choice spring skiing for me. The skate lanes never mushed out either and folks were gliding away right through late afternoon. Today should be a repeat of yester

SPRING DAY YESTERDAY AND BACK TO WINTRY TODAY
A taste of spring yesterday, with the temperatures getting into the low forties. Overnight the cooling temps squeezed out a fatty inch of fresh powder and the temps froze slightly. This allowed that really fresh powder to meld nicely into the already epic base of snow we have here up at the ski center. The skiing is great, and we have buffed out some core trails fo you today. Already this morning an "impressively nice" was announced from a satisfied early morning skier. All

Two inches of fresh overnight.
A creamy inch or two of snow on top of our trails this AM. Things remain excellent and trails are in prime condition. Our winter is still in full swing. All but the outer loop was groomed out fresh for you this morning. The skiing is as nice as it gets, the temps are springy and the sun is out. Bring the sun block and prepare for your Vitamin D treatment. If the trails get real soft this afternoon we may close to skaters to help preserve the snowpack, but we will see. This p

1" OVERNIGHT 100% OPEN

ONE INCH OF SNOW OVERNIGHT AND THATS ALL WE NEEDED
FEBRUARY 19, 2021 The weak inch we needed is what we got early this morning. It has made all the difference in the snowpack. Just about everywhere the crunch and crust is gone and the trails are as firm as they can be with a very nice edge able powder layer on top. The skiing once again is prime. Temps and views will be going bananas today. Anyone with common sense will be skiing at Ole's today. More snow potential for the rest of the day. It would be nice have one more laye
No lack of glide in the snow as of today
February 18, 2021 The three inches of the snow/sleet that fell Monday night into Tuesday warmed during the afternoon hours on Tuesday to well above freezing. Then, in fantastic Vermont fashion, the temps went from almost forty degrees at the end of the day Tuesday to around five degrees by Wednesday morning. The result was a unique blend of a 1.5 inch crust over a sugary base. The grooming was a little weird needless to say. Nothing like shoveling crusty and very deep snow f

Perfectly Cold out there.
Nice and cold out there. Tons of powder, groomed up and skiing nicely. It is cold for sure, 5 degrees now and at best reaching around 10 degrees by mid afternoon. If you dress warm, and find the trails out of the slight breeze that is blowing, you will enjoy your ski. It is so nice to have had all of these nice cold winter days. The snow has remained on the powdery side of things but it is packed well and everything is skiing as nicely as it can. If you hear your skis today y
