March 02, 2026 Chilly start to the day with temps at -8 when I first woke this AM. Trails are locked up hard but I will be out tilling into the morning hours. Remember that this time of year, once the sun crests it's zenith and the afternoon shadows start to get longer the snow will begin to refreeze and harden up again. Best skiing will be during the "heat of the day" which looks like around mid to late morning until about late afternoon. Plenty of glide out there today.

March 01, 2026 Good Morning, Happy March......... A sharp drop in temps overnight from the high of almost 50 degrees yesterday has transformed the snow pack and consolidated it. Trails really firmed up overnight and it was lightly snowing early this morning. I have been out tilling trails since the wee hours and with the light dusting that fell this morning, conditions have turned into a nice glide rich loose granular surface.
