December 28, 2020 Good Morning Folks, Well, the airport is mainly white once again. We have gotten about an inch to an inch and a half of snow since yesterday morning. While it is enough to cover up that scuzzy brown and green. Not enough to open ski trails. We will re open just as soon as we are able to. Hope everyone is finding something to do in this perpetual November. Think snowy thoughts.
December 26th, 2020 Good Morning, I hope the Holiday found you well yesterday. Anybody in at least a 75 mile radius yesterday saw the large amount of rain and felt the warm temperatures. Add that strong SE wind and you guessed it, back to green grass. Thats ok. the Christmas Thaw is unfortunately a regular thing. We will get it back. Just a few inches on that manicured Airport Field and more gliding will be in store. Ski shop is open today and tomorrow 10AM-3PM. Still have so
Trails are still hanging in there. The 5 to 7 KM of skiing still has decent coverage as of 9 AM. However things look to turn a little scary by tonight. There is a snow pack busting rain storm coming in and with the temperatures soaring into the fifties and that hair dryer like wind coming out of the south I would anticipate we will be seeing more green on the Airport rather than white by tomorrow morning. Just the usual Christmas Eve thaw it would seem. The weather is suppose
A dusting of snow fell overnight, the wind pushed some powder around and the result was a refresh on our trails. Our open terrain is still skiing nicely and what a wonder a little bit of snow can do for making things look nice behind my groomer. We have 7KM of skiing for you to enjoy today. The sun is once again out in force, the winds are non existant and their is not a cloud in the sky. All open trails were regroomed fresh this morning so come up and enjoy now because it lo
Good Morning, Our 5KM of skiing is still hanging in there. Things are still skiing good and with the slight warm up in temperatures the glide in the snow should prove to be really nice. Come get it while it is here. looks like a punch in the nose towards the end of the week. I'm taking it day by day and today there is skiing in the house so come and check it out. Ski shop open today from 10AM-4PM. If you do decide to visit please be sure to fill out a State of VT Attestation
Good Morning, Yesterday's "opener" proved to be fantastic. There were many happy faces out there. Today should be a repeat of good skiing and happy people. We have around 5KM of some pretty darn good skiing for you to enjoy today. There is classic track set on most of it and good to great coverage on most of the open terrain. Come up and enjoy. If you decide to pay us a visit please note that you are required by the State of VT to fill out a Attestation form for Covid-19 trav
A crispy cold and sunny start to the day today. 5 below at my house when I awoke at 3:30AM. Nice to have winter for sure. We are open to everyone today with around 5KM of some surprisingly good skiing. The winter storm that hammered New England this past week brought us a modest seven inches of snow, not the 40 plus inches that other places scored but we are sure happy to have it. Open trail list includes Trails # 2 and Trail #11 Rock N' Roll. Winter is on and all of you shou
After all was said and done yesterday we came out with around 7 inches of powder on our trail system. That has allowed us to open up around 5 KM of surprisingly good skiing on Trail #2 and # 11. The sun is out in the winds are nil'. The ski center is open for pass holders today and will be open to the general public starting tomorrow. Come up and say hello. Before you do though, be sure and review our Covid-19 protocols carefully. All visitors to Ole's are required to sign th
The lame three inches of snow that was forecasted has turned into 4-5 inches of white magic. It is still snowing out and things are looking nice and wintry once again! The roller has been run around trail #2 as well as Trail #11 Rock N' Roll. We have a solid 4-5KM of skiing groomed out for pass holders to come up and enjoy today. The coverage is pretty great with some thin spots. I would recommend classic today. Give a call with questions.
Crispy and cold out there this morning. It was 2 degrees as of 6 AM. The air is nice and fresh but unfortunately our earth is still earth colored and not snow colored. Some snow is coming in tonight. Not looking like much, up to three inches but yesterday morning we were not supposed to get anything. The storm is trending more north today than it was yesterday. Maybe if we all close our eyes real tight and wish upon a star it will track more north and hammer us with some groo
