Still snowing after 20 inches of heavy wet snow. It's supposed to snow and flurry right through till tomorrow morning. The scenery is reminiscent of January but believe it or not it's April 5.
for a total of around 15+ kilometers for your skiing pleasure.
As one would expect with all of this new snow the skiing and coverage is really nice. Still some spring spots kicking around to negotiate but only here in there and after all it is spring.
Ski shop open at 10 AM today. The movie open 9 AM through 5 PM Saturday through Monday for the eclipse.
We are prime location reviewing the clips and should have a full view of it. Come up and ski underneath the eclipse possibly a once in a lifetime opportunity!
Note :We are all done with reciprocals tickets for the season see u next year.

An abrupt hault to our spring.
Biggest storm all year possibly in a few years going on right now. At least 14" of snow has fallen and it is still snowing heavily as of 2pM.
Sorry for the late update but power has been out and there is a lot of fresh snow out there!
We have just completed about 15km of trail with a round of grooming and are fueling up for another round.
We plan having some great skiing up here for tomorrow and the weekend. What a late season surprise for us.
Shop hours may be a little intermittent tomorrow but we will be open full hours for the weekend through Monday for the eclipse.

What big snowstorm coming?
April Fools? I guess not. It is April 2nd, and it means no April Fools on us.
Another big late season snow storm set to hit us starting tomorrow through Friday. Up to 18 inches of snow. Crazy!
We will be looking to get reopened for the weekend if not sooner. It looks like another huge storm with wet heavy snow and strong winds.
Ever seen an Eclipse while Nordic Skiing? Me either.
Monday will be a first for most of us. Come to Ole's and enjoy this Astronomical Phenomenon while Skiing away. Assuming things work out as planned we will be open for the Eclipse as well as this weekend. The best skiing of the whole year might be starting this weekend.
