Good Morning,,
Sweet Sunshine, blue skies, cold temps and great snow will be featured at Ole's XC this morning. It snowed lightly into the evening last night. Leaving us with a storm total of nearly 6 inches of beautiful powder snow. Of the fluffiest variety.
For skiing there is a nice 2KM loop between the runway and Ole's base lodge. It has great coverage and should be skiing most excellent.
I also rolled out #2 around the entire field as well as the lower section of #2 around the Old Polo Field. # 11 Rock N' Roll was rolled yesterday and groomed this morning. A couple of intrepid skiers went out there yesterday and said it was a blast.
The inner 2KM loop is all there and may even get light tracking here shortly. The outer parts and Polo section of #2 has good and thin spot with some grass showing but very skiable". Rock N' Roll is in similar condition.
Total terrain distance today is about 8KM
Use caution on downhills. A few inches of snow potential for tomorrow.
It is going to be an excellent day up here.
The scenery is stellar.
Come up and enjoy.
Update 2:30pm.
Rolled and re rolled a loop on the inside "green grass" of the airport field and the coverage looks nice. Loop total is just short of 2KM at 1.96KM. Flakes are still falling. Better go do some product testing here. See hows she's gliding.
Come up and have yourself an afternoon glide session.

Word of the Day?
Snow!
Snowing out at a real good clip out there. A few inches of nice powdery snow has fallen on the airport. It is supposed to snow right into the afternoon. With 3"-5" of snow in the forecast.
The snowmobile is fired up and I will be taking the roller out to pack in some of this fresh on the inside "green grass" areas of the airport. Start to build that base in.
We will re post with an update here in a just little bit.
Winter is in the forecast through the foreseeable forecast. Looking nice and cold this weekend.
Open today, so come over and slide around and say high.
