Good melty morning to everyone,
Well it is another drizzly, dreary day. The good news is that we scored about 8-9 inches of snow overnight. So far we are calculating a serious net gain in our snowpack. The wet heavy snow has covered everything really nicely but it is saturated and needs to drain. Trails will be closed for today. Please stay off. If we let it drain and dry out it should groom out really nicely.
The weather radar shows the last of the rain starting to move out of our area. We will be shooting for a re-groom tomorrow which should provide excellent skiing conditions. It is measuring up to be an excellent MLK Holiday week. Our ski shop will be open today.

Some amazing views this morning. A crazy beautiful sky foreshadows a strong storm set to hit us tonight into tomorrow. We are open with good to excellent skiing conditions on around 20KM of trail. The field skiing is really nice and there are some woods packed out for you to ski. The woods are thin in spots so use caution. Call or check in for details.
We are due for a really strong storm to hit us tonight as mentioned. There will be some snow to begin with. Then some really strong winds tonight and tomorrow. The temps are supposed to be warm tomorrow so we may end up closing trails for the day to help preserve our snowpack. I am cautiously optimistic that we will end up with a positive outcome. Time will tell.
Today however, is set to be a perfect day to come ski Ole's. The temps are nice and cold and will be warming to a comfortable upper twenties. The winds are light and the views are going bananas!. Come enjoy this great gift of snow we have received. See you up here.

It snowed heavily all day up here yesterday. It is like REAL winter out there now!
We have a plethora of trails open up here for you to enjoy.
Trail list is:
#2 all the way around
#5 all the way around. The woods have been rolled and are a little thin on the north end but really nice .
#7 out to the Cornfields
#11 Rock n' Roll which is choice!
Trails have been both groomed for classic and skate skiing!
It is really great to have some nice powder snow to enjoy. Come up and enjoy!
