February 08, 2026     We are deeply into winter here in East Warren, VT. Old school temps with excellent and abundant old school snow conditions. Just right for cross country skiing, where you build your own heat through kicking and gliding.     Just a tad chilly out there this morning. Currently about 10 below with a little bit of wind. A nice round of snow squalls moving through this morning giving us a really nice refresh on the trails. It was dumping snow a little bit ago but has started to lighten up. It is supposed to snow lightly here for the next little bit, come to and end and then drop temps through the morning. Cold in the forecast but at the moment the winds are mellow. They may increase out of the NW as the day progresses, so tune your ski route to stay out of the breeze as best you can.

February 04, 2026 It has been lightly snowing since this morning, giving trails a bit of a refresh. Grooming on all the core trails this morning including #1 and #11. Fresh tracks set too. The outer loop trails #6, #9 and #10 were groomed yesterday. Some good skiing out there but the hills are challenging in their usual spots. Advanced skiers out their only please. January 31, 2026 It's going to be a perfect kind of ski day today. Cold and still out early this am. There is fine and dry snow dust hovering around. The trails are grooming out to a beautiful and well packed powder surface. Classic tracks are crisp and ready for kicking and gliding. Winds? Forecast to be calm. Sun? January 30, 2026 A bit brisk out there this morning. -4 with some breeze across the airport. The skiing remains awesome. Packed dry powder that is a treat to have for snow conditions. The sun is out and while it is a bit chilly there are some spots to hide from the breeze and get your ski on. Temps are supposed to rise to about 5 above by around 2PM. The outer loop, trails #9,#10 and #6 were groomed well with tracks set. See detailed conditions for cautions on outer loop.

January 29, 2026   About as nice of a cold winter January morning as it gets out there this AM. An incredible sunrise out there with the sun's warmth creating frost fog above Ole's trail system. January 28, 2026 Nice cold start to the day with a fresh dusting of snow on the trails overnight. Things are in really nice condition. We have been able to get the woods of #5 open as the logging has been completed It is looking pretty good in there. The entrance of #5 Woods off the Junction of #2 right down the hill from the building is pretty rough for the first 100 ft or so. Be cautious as you enter.
