Good Morning,

The snow squalls rolled in and blew and blew yesterday. We scored around 3" of snow that blew around and went a long way in making the great skiing even better.

COLD OUT THERE!

This morning.temps when I first snapped my eyes open this AM were -8 below. It's just right.

The temperatures are supposed to rebound nicely into the the teens by mid day and with ample sun it should be a great day of gliding here at Ole's XC.

Skiing on trails #2,#11 and on an inside early season loop that measures 2KM distance for a total of about 8KM of skiing.

Inside early loop is great on all fronts.

Trails #2 and #11 are much better after some fresh snow and will be fun to loop. There are a few thin spots on #2 and #11 with just a bit of stubble to poke through on a few short areas.

No doubt it would have more of an affect on skate skiers rather than classic skiers.

The inside loop will be skiing great today for both techniques .

Everything will be getting a fresh comb out this morning. I am pretty sure I can get a classic track set on almost all of it. Come skiing. Great to have ourselves an old school start to winter. Bring it!

DECEMBER 12/04/25

The snow was like butter yesterday. So nice on the 2KM loop. Trail #2 all the way around the airport field as well as the lower Polo section was skiing nice with a little bit of stubble to resistance train your way through. Some of it is excellent. Rock N' Roll is skiing surprisingly nice. Caution on the downhills. I have re groomed for your skiing enjoyment this morning. You will also find a classic track on the inside early season loop.

Potential for 2-4" of snow today. Good snow, nice cold temps at night and it rebounding to civilized temps during the day will set us up for an excellent weekend uphere at the ski center.

Come up and enjoy.

We are running a $16.00 Trail Ticket plus tax through the weekend. Come up get your laps in.

Good Morning,,

Sweet Sunshine, blue skies, cold temps and great snow will be featured at Ole's XC this morning. It snowed lightly into the evening last night. Leaving us with a storm total of nearly 6 inches of beautiful powder snow. Of the fluffiest variety.

For skiing there is a nice 2KM loop between the runway and Ole's base lodge. It has great coverage and should be skiing most excellent.

I also rolled out #2 around the entire field as well as the lower section of #2 around the Old Polo Field. # 11 Rock N' Roll was rolled yesterday and groomed this morning. A couple of intrepid skiers went out there yesterday and said it was a blast.

The inner 2KM loop is all there and may even get light tracking here shortly. The outer parts and Polo section of #2 has good and thin spot with some grass showing but very skiable". Rock N' Roll is in similar condition.

Total terrain distance today is about 8KM

Use caution on downhills. A few inches of snow potential for tomorrow.

It is going to be an excellent day up here.

The scenery is stellar.

Come up and enjoy.
