More and more snow is falling down from the sky. We have gotten an honest 10 inches up here and it is a winter wonderland out there. So far trails #'s 2,3,4,5,8,12 and #7 and #6 loop but not down into the Folsom brook yet or around Cold Springs Farm Trails have been packed out and will be tracked for classic here in just a little bit. After that we will be looking to get the rest of the terrain packed out as the temps allow for grooming. It is supposed to snow up here all day so come on up and enjoy this snow!

NOAA forecaster says in his report that overnight travel will be close to impossible. Says him, I have trails to groom. A heroic drive in early this AM in over eight inches of fresh powder on the roads. The trails are slathered in nice powder once again and it is still absolutely hammering snow. Grooming has commenced and will be ongoing. It is supposed to snow heavily all day and then taper off later.
Attack plan for the day will be to do a round of packing on some core trails and then come back to get the track setter. Fresh track will be periodically set today for you to ski on. Expect fresh powder to abound out there. What a week!
I will update once opening time nears to give a 411 on trail status. You can also call in after 9AM with questions. Awesome to have so much snow out there.

New day and another round of tilling up powder into an ample base. A beautiful
coating of powder overnight yet again.
Yesterday I was skiing around on Swix Red Silver Kick Wax making it work through Folsom and Cold Springs trail. Today temperatures have dropped and we are right back to cold snow with excellent skiing conditions. The sky is Colorado blue and the Sun is shining in full.
If things play out like the weather dudes say there should be even more fresh snow through tomorrow. Stay tuned. In the mean time come rip these trails today please.
