A MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL
Merry Christmas to everyone from Ole’s. I hope Santa was good to you. Santa was good to my house, a slight cookie mess was left and I’m pretty sure HE had to be the one to drink all the beer in the house. And for some completely unrelated reason this ski center owner is moving a little slowly today. Regardless we will be opening at 10AM today to help spread some Christmas cheer through skiing.
Trails are hanging in there and unfortunately our white Christmas is more of a clear one as it is currently freezing drizzle outside. It is great in spots and a little gnarly in others. Maybe some snow at the end of this system to help things freshen up. I expect trail conditions to potentially change as more freezing rain falls so I will update trail conditions as they evolve. Please be careful driving out there. It is no joke on Vermont dirt roads when it is freezing rain. The paved ones might not be any better Call the ski shop for questions and trail updates. Been a ride for sure since this time last year and things still are not quite back to normal but I think we are pretty lucky to be where we are in this time and space. We will be renting skis and selling day tickets for day visitors today. If you need to rent skis please note that rentals are by reservation again this year, although we will do our best to accomodate "walk-in" visitors. The upstairs lounge is not open again this year and we will once again have a port-o-let we ask you to use. We have a shop full of ski gear for sale including classic and skate ski packages, gloves, hats (seriously a lot of hats) and other apparel as well as all the wax a human could need! You can still get your pass for the season.
