Another chilly and quite gorgeous start to the day today. Skiing was great yesterday, and despite the
chilly temps we had a bunch of happy ski people up here enjoying the trails. Today the temps will rise nicely into the mid twenties and with the full sun forecast, the ski surface should soften up nicely. It's gonna be a great day!
The snow is packed, fast and full of glide first thing this morning but the sun should go a long way in softening things up. All trails have excellent coverage and I will be combing out some core trails this morning.
Reports from the outer loop yesterday, trails #6,#9 and #10, were that it was pretty slick down there. Especially dropping down into the brook via the big hill on #6. If you are going to tackle that we recommend skiing it clockwise, down #9 to #10 and up #6. Skiers use caution and maybe not a bad idea to walk down the hills. Still a good bit of debris under the pine trees on the outer loop too. Other than that, skiers said it was really nice. Expert's only down there.
Come up and enjoy the sunshine today and tomorrow. These next few days will potentially be the best of the season. Tomorrow looks even warmer with temps in the upper twenties so everything will defiantly soften up and be in excellent shape
. Things get a bit ominous starting Tues night. There is a hefty snow base so I am cautiously optimistic that we will keep our ski on later in the week. Stay tuned.

An impressive temperature drop overnight. About 30 or more degrees in about 10 hrs. It snowed on and off yesterday, sometimes quite heavily. Trails this morning have firmed up but look nice behind the groomer as I till away. The fresh snow last night that has now dried out into a powder snow, is going a long way towards a quality ski surface.
I will be looking to renovate at least the core trails this morning. Skiing should be great today. The strong north winds that brought in the chilly temps overnight, seem to have mellowed out. The sun is also supposed to show itself today. A perfect day for cross country skiing!
We are setup for another several days of great winter conditions here at the center so come get your cold snow gliding in.

February has come and gone and 2025's March is starting out with fresh snow on the trails and a trail system that is 100% open and groomed up for your skiing pleasure. A lofty fresh inch of snow overnight fell and is just another layer on top of our nice base of snow.
Just about all the trails will be re-groomed here this morning. It is another beautiful winter morning out there. The skiing is really nice, so come up and enjoy.
