What a day what a day!

Another day of sunny skies and excellent skiing on just about a 100% open trail network. All trails are open and have been hit up with the groomer over the last few days with the exception of trails #8/#12 in the woods that have active logging at the moment. Just about all of the core trails will be freshly groomed for your skiing pleasure this morning. And everything else is in excellent condition.

A lot of happy skiers yesterday gliding around enjoying the amazing snow. Last night the kick wax skiing was unbelievable. Maybe time to stick that special "Klister Glide Wax" on my kid's skis. He is getting a bit hard to keep up with! Little rascal.       Sunshine and the best skiing and conditions any skier could ask for. Temps will top out in the upper teens today. Full sun+proper winter temps+incredible packed powder conditions= another epic day here up at the ski center. I hope to see you all here.

It's going to be a perfect kind of ski day today. Cold and still out early this am. There is fine and dry snow dust hovering around. The trails are grooming out to a beautiful and well packed powder surface. Classic tracks are crisp and ready for kicking and gliding. Winds? Forecast to be calm. Sun? It will be set to blast on high The views will be long and spectacular today. Cold first thing this morning but temps will rise to a balmy 14 degrees today but will feel much warmer.

This is the perfect kind of ski day to be here at Ole's. All core trails including #1 and #11 will be tuned up for your skiing pleasure. The outer loop, trails #6,#9 and #10 was groomed with tracks set yesterday. The beginning of #9 and #6 were re-groomed this morning to comb out the fresh blown in from yesterday. There is no better way to get out in the cold than to XC Ski. Come enjoy some of the nicest conditions we have had in years.

See you up here.

A bit brisk out there this morning. -4 with some breeze across the airport. The skiing remains awesome. Packed dry powder that is a treat to have for snow conditions. The sun is out and while it is a bit chilly there are some spots to hide from the breeze and get your ski on. Temps are supposed to rise to about 5 above by around 2PM.

The outer loop, trails #9,#10 and #6 were groomed well with tracks set. See detailed conditions for cautions on outer loop. #5 in the woods has good coverage with a rugged section right at the entrance off of #2 for about 30 yards of roughness from the logging that is now completed. The rest beyond is quite nice and you'll find fresh grooming on most of the core trails as well as the outer loop trails.

Stop in for trail suggestions.

A lot of skiing to be had here right now and good rout options to help stay warm out ther

Tomorrow looks better and Sunday looks even better as the winds are supposed to be calm, the sun will be out and the temps will rise into the teens.

Bundle up and come up for a ski no better way to get out on a cold day than XC SKIING. Do it.
