Winter solstice today. It is the official start of winter here and already we have had many great days of skiing to count towards our 25/26 ski season.
The crazy warm and rain Friday put the hurt on all of that beautiful powder. Now we wait patiently for some fresh snow to get some skiing going again.
The forecast shows several potential chances at snow this week so stay tuned and think snow!
Ski shop open today until 4PM.

Well anyone in the area witnessed the impressive wind and driving rain yesterday. It was downright nasty out there. The heavy rain and consistent warm wind from the south melted us out and we will need some fresh snow to get trails open again. Ski shop is open today and tomorrow.
Basically back to the beginning here so think snow and hoping for some redemption here in the next few days.
The sun is out. So there's that.

Windy, rainy and warm today. At the moment there looks to be coverage on the trail surface. Trails will be closed today to at least give it a shot for some skiing tomorrow. Maybe a bit of fresh snow later when temps drop today.
Mid week, looks interesting. Think snow!
