Proper cold out there the morning. Hovering around 10 degrees. Just the way I like it. We received at least 6" of fresh snow yesterday. It is as dry of a champagne powder as you can get. It is grooming up great on our 100% open trail network. I will have trails #1,#2,#3,#4,#5,#7,#8/#12, and #11 all groomed out for your skiing pleasure by around mid morning. The outer loop, trail #6,#9 and # 10 were groomed yesterday and should ski great with this fresh pow' on top. We will be groomed out for skate skiing with a nice crisp classic track set. Excellent classic waxing conditions today. Come up and enjoy the amazing winter

Nice and cold to start out there this morning. We like it cold for Cross Country Skiing!
Our trail system is 100% open and groomed up for you to enjoy today and all week long.
I rolled out the outer loop trails, #6#9 and # 10 this morning. It is mostly nice but a few spots are still a little wet down in the bottom of Folsom Brook. They are readily avoidable though and coverage is really nice mostly. Check in for details or if you plan on skiing it for safety sake . It sure is beautiful down there.
All other open terrain is groomed up and skiing great. We are psyched to have so much skiing up here for you to enjoy. Up to 6 inches of snow is set to fall in Central VT. It is going to be a great week of Skiing.. See you up here.

About as nice of a winter morning that one could have out there this AM. Cold and the sun is blasting over Ole's trails. After a rebuff this morning trails look awesome. Today will be the best kind of day to be at Ole's Cross Country. Just about everything will get the groomers touch by around 10AM. Some serious snow squalls came in yesterday afternoon and night. It was an absolute blizzard out there with white out conditions. The new snow has groomed out nicely and helped to cover up that scratch in just a few spots. Come up and enjoy the snow.
