Good Morning,
The super early grooming yesterday morning paid off. The snow was still cold and was not overly compacted. That in combination of off and on snow squalls all night last night has resulted in a nicely pliable loos granular mixed with some nice cold snow. It looks to be grooming out beautifully and should prove to provide some excellent gliding today.
The snow should be fast but super edge able. There are a few slick spots but only just a few. We do have some metal edge skis for rent as well. That really helps with edge grip. We have some great woods trails to help get you out of the breeze. Come up and get some great skiing in. Ski shop open 9AM-5PM Today.

10:30AM UPDATE
All the core trails have been groomed up including #2,#3,#4,#5,#7,#7A, #8/#12 and trail # 11. Skiing is excellent reminiscent of Late March. Looking at a good freeze up tonight. Come up and ski. The skiing will be excellent today. Bring your quick/liquid wax. We have some for sale in the shop. The wind is still well, a little windy Heading North towards the woods and out to #7 and #4 is the ticket for today and is way less windy. And dare I say it, rather nice! The wind and precipitation is forecasted to drop steadily through out the afternoon. See you up here.

Good Morning to a very Snowy Saturday,
Currently it is just absolutely dumping snow. It is a real blizzard out there. About 3 inches of pasty snow has fallen on the trails and it is still coming down at a high clip. Perfect snow to add to the already excellent conditions.
We will be grooming through out the day and will be open for your skiing pleasure today. The wind is up, but is forecasted to die down starting around 10AM We have beautiful woods trails for you to enjoy, and hide out from that wind. That is where I will put the main focus on the grooming today. As long as the wind is blowing that snow around anyways. Expect excellent skiing here today. It is truly a winter wonderland out there and I hope everyone finds their way up here to enjoy these excellent January conditions. I will update the trail report again around opening time.
