Some amazing views this morning. A crazy beautiful sky foreshadows a strong storm set to hit us tonight into tomorrow. We are open with good to excellent skiing conditions on around 20KM of trail. The field skiing is really nice and there are some woods packed out for you to ski. The woods are thin in spots so use caution. Call or check in for details.
We are due for a really strong storm to hit us tonight as mentioned. There will be some snow to begin with. Then some really strong winds tonight and tomorrow. The temps are supposed to be warm tomorrow so we may end up closing trails for the day to help preserve our snowpack. I am cautiously optimistic that we will end up with a positive outcome. Time will tell.
Today however, is set to be a perfect day to come ski Ole's. The temps are nice and cold and will be warming to a comfortable upper twenties. The winds are light and the views are going bananas!. Come enjoy this great gift of snow we have received. See you up here.

It snowed heavily all day up here yesterday. It is like REAL winter out there now!
We have a plethora of trails open up here for you to enjoy.
Trail list is:
#2 all the way around
#5 all the way around. The woods have been rolled and are a little thin on the north end but really nice .
#7 out to the Cornfields
#11 Rock n' Roll which is choice!
Trails have been both groomed for classic and skate skiing!
It is really great to have some nice powder snow to enjoy. Come up and enjoy!

We have finally gotten a solid dose of nice snow. As of 7am there is around 4" of fresh snow on the trails. It is still snowing heavily. It is a winter wonderland out there and it is grooming out nicely. Trails #2,#3,#11, and most likely #5 out to the farm fields will be packed, tracked and ready for you to ski by around 9ish. About 15KMish. I will then explore some other terrain as the conditions permit.
The plan is to pack trails and be setting track while the snow is still coming down. Classic skiing will should be great. Some of the first nice cold snow of the season. Great day for a Classic Waxable ski. The snow is forecasted to wind down through out the day (maybe not!) and I will then comb out the skate lanes as conditions permit.
A lot of nice powder out there. Got to love it . Ski shop open 9AM-5PM today. Come enjoy the nicest conditions so far this season.
