A quick squall blew in around 4-5 AM and gave us a little bit of fresh snow. Not a ton of snow but nice to see some white stuff falling from the sky. Some chances at snow this week and nice and proper cold winter temps to keep us rolling on here up at Ole's.
Skiing is great. Skate skiing on Rock n' Roll was off the hook yesterday. That classic track didn't look half bad either and we had a whole mess of happy skiers up here enjoying the trails, Today's temps started out in the mid twenties. Practically Tropical!
Come up, enjoy the trails, hang out and enjoy some food upstairs. Soups will be on.Homemade English Muffins if I don't mess em' up. LOL
Yummy Grill cheeses on deck if I can pull my act together. See you up here.

Caution on trail #1, keep your speed down on the downhill sections over their.

Nice and cold to start this morning but temps will rebound well into the twenties quite quickly today. Today will be the start of the best weekend yet for us here at Ole's so far this season. Skiing is great especially considering the low snow pack. Trails have been re groomed this morning. The sun is scheduled to shine, the wind is down and we hope to see you up here enjoying the trails
Hot drinks and food upstairs for sale and a nice warm and cozy lodge to hang in. Come up and utilize!

Good Morning,
A micro dusting of snow overnight, temps rising into the twenties, the absence of wind and good to excellent skiing on around 20KM of trails will make this the start of the best stretch of skiing yet this season.
I groomed out the bulk of trail #1 The Warren Pinnacle yesterday and will give it a little more love this morning. Things up there are pretty nice but there are a few funky spots so pay attention,observe the warning signs and keep your speed down on the down hill sections, There is really nice snow however and you certainly cannot beat the view.
It looks like about 10 days at least of fantastic weather for outdoor recreation. Ole’s will be the place to be for gliding fun. Come up and enjoy the trails. We have great options for snowshoeing as well as rentals for both skate and classic skiing and snowshoeing.
We have a nice lodge to hang in as well as hot dirnks snacks and cooler drinks.
