Happy New Year.
3" fresh snow on the trails this morning, with it still snowing heavily. Trail conditions will be excellent today with all of this fresh powder. All inner trails that we have been skiing this season will be groomed up and I will be poking out along East Warren Warren to the big hay field on #5.
Trail #5 through the woods is closed. It is going to be a beautiful January ski day.
Powder day today so come up and get it. Ski shop is open Until 4PM today. Have a great holiday.
Ski shop will be open at 10AM today to facilitate more grooming for the people.
The sun is out this morning and the skiing is looking good. A nice skinny inch of snow fell on the trails overnight. It has helped the ski surface quality. We did a day of laps with the Tidd. (and skis) and tilled the surface repeatedly yesterday Trails got another round this morning There are some icy spots but the skiing looked good overall behind the groomer this morning. Caution on the down hills and in general. A lot of glide out there right now!
The trail list includes #2 around the Airport and around #11. The inner early season loop is also groomed out. Total skiing distance of around 5KM-6KM.
At the moment the sun is out and the wind is reasonable. Making it nice and pleasant out.
1'-3" of fresh snow potential tonight.
Maybe it will come in big.

Till her up! That's the phrase of the day........
After some tilling looks like we will be able to get around 6-7 KM of trail open.
Trails are covered with snow pretty well and the fresh powder is blowing around. Trail count includes around the main airport field of #2, #11 and the inside loop close into the Ole's Base Lodge.
The surface is looking pretty nice mostly but there are definitely some slick spots around #2 and #11. But some good to excellent skiing too. Use caution on the downhills as slick spots exist.
The inside loop however is looking solid and nice and pliable .We will be out throughout the morning tilling away trying to make things as loose as possible.
Wood stove is cranking. Hot drinks and snacks are available for sale and for your nourishment.
