Snowy and blowy out there this am. We scored several inches of powder in the last few hours. It has made a nice refresh of the ski surface. Another 4-7 inches of snow forecast for central VT for tonight into Wednesday. We like it!
Yesterday we had some really impressive wind out there. With gusts probably reaching 40MPH. Kudos to the brave souls who ventured out. Resistance training at it's finest.
The wind has died down some but is still blowing that powder around quite a bit. I did a grooming round on the core trails although it was blowing snow back in about as fast as I could groom it. Maybe not the best for this morning's skiing but a really good thing. It is helping trails to fill in nicely. With the snow potential for tonight/Wed once again we will set up for another stretch of great winter fun. This coming weekend looks muy bueno with ample sun and cold but reasonable temps.
The woods are looking better with a bit of fresh out there. A good route would be Trail #5 out to #4 and back along East Warren Rd. Rock n' Roll may be less windy than the airport too.
Mr. Sun is starting to come out Maybe the wind wants to die down?
If the wind chills out. I may go back out and do another grooming round in a bit. Maybe not if it keeps blowing. Great to have some real winter weather. Call with questions. Have a good day.

Good Morning,
Just easing into the work week today. Coverage on open terrain remains pretty good despite the low snowpack. Sun is out but the wind is up in a big way. Good opportunities to catch a gust today and send yourself all the way to Moretown. Trails were regroomed this morning just in time for the wind to blow them back in.
The wind is supposed to increase through the day with maybe some snow tonight/tomorrow. The forecast looks to be getting interesting starting Wednesday. Fresh snow potential. Stay tuned and do your snow dances.
Despite the wind blasts now occuring it was really pretty out this morning with an unexpected 1/2" of new snow.
Stop in with questions.

A quick squall blew in around 4-5 AM and gave us a little bit of fresh snow. Not a ton of snow but nice to see some white stuff falling from the sky. Some chances at snow this week and nice and proper cold winter temps to keep us rolling on here up at Ole's.
Skiing is great. Skate skiing on Rock n' Roll was off the hook yesterday. That classic track didn't look half bad either and we had a whole mess of happy skiers up here enjoying the trails, Today's temps started out in the mid twenties. Practically Tropical!
Come up, enjoy the trails, hang out and enjoy some food upstairs. Soups will be on.Homemade English Muffins if I don't mess em' up. LOL
Yummy Grill cheeses on deck if I can pull my act together. See you up here.

Caution on trail #1, keep your speed down on the downhill sections over their.
Experts only. Some really nice snow too and the view is really superb
Note: There is active logging occurring out behind the farm. Follow signs and re routes. Give way and yield to all equipment and vehicles. In short stay out of the way. Give a wave to the logging crew, say thanks for working hard and keeping that land land for us to enjoy and glide around on. Thanks guys!
Good skiing to find out there so take a tour and ski it up!
