Yet another coating of snow overnight with about 2" of powder on top of the trails. Just about everything except the outer loop will be groomed out fresh with fresh classic tracks set by around 10AM. #8, #12 and #7A closed for logging operations.
The outer loop will ski really nicely with this fresh snow on top of a well packed base. #9 and #10 were groomed out yesterday with tracks set. More snow coming tonight too. There is getting to be a good bit of snow out there. Come up and get your glide on.

Nice and cold to start this morning. Most of VT is 10 below and colder. The good news is that sun is supposed to shine brightly and will not take long to get things warmed right back up. Temps are forecast to move up to the twenties by around mid day but the sun will make it feel much warmer. All of the beautiful powder that keeps piling up combined with a little bit of grooming experience has resulted in excellent skiing conditions. Another 1-3 of fresh tonight and another round Monday night is set to hit us. The sun rise this morning was really gorgeous with the cold clear air around.
Come up to Ole's and enjoy this great stretch of winter.
Soups today are:
Sausage and kale, with mushrooms and Tuscan Veggie. Fresh bread was made this morning and food will be available around mid day/mid morning. There are hot drinks available cold drinks stocked in the cooler and a ripping woodstove to enjoy. Come ski, hang up stairs, grab a bite to eat and enjoy our cozy ski lodge.

Starting out the new month with a powder fest. Another 3 inches of absolutely beautiful powder fell on the trails last night. ALL of the main trails will be regroomed this monring with fresh tracks set in short order. Incuding trail #1. The outer loop, trails #6,#9 and # 10 were rolled out yesterday. If I can sneak away in time I will touch up those as well. Either way they should be really nice with all of this fresh powder. Do use caution on the downhill sections of the outer loop. A wider OT ski would not be a terrible idea. Stop in to get the details on the outer loop conditions if you wish. Experts only out there.
Everything else is pretty much in superb condition. #5 through the woods is well covered but sitll a bit dippy. Good for ze' balance!

The woodstove will be cranking, hot soup, hot/cold drinks available snacks too.
