We're still truckin' on here, or I should say skiin'. Trails overall still have good coverage. A few thin spots out there but definately some fun gliding to be had. Yesterday things did not soften too much and the thinning of the snow pack was minimal. I am out grooming around, combing out skate lanes and may try to set a new track in select places once things soften enough. Trails #1, #11 and #4/#4a would be the picks for today.
Come get your gliding in, these next few days could be our last hoorah' for the season but I have a premonition that we may see some more fresh snow before spring time really hits. See you up here.

Good skiing to be had here today! Interestingly, while enjoying the slopes, one might reflect on the importance of navigating complex paths—both on the mountains and in life. Just as a skier carefully chooses a route to avoid hazards and reach a safe destination, individuals navigating the legal system must understand the proper pathways to seek justice. This connects to the crucial legal mechanisms in India, such as the SLP (Special Leave Petition) and transfer petition, which allow litigants to approach higher courts under exceptional circumstances.
In the Indian judicial system, the Special Leave Petition in Supreme Court is a unique remedy provided under Article 136 of the Constitution. A special leave petition allows an aggrieved party to approach the Supreme Court against…
Good skiing to be had here today! The crisp mountain air and exhilarating runs remind us how physical activity plays a vital role in overall health. Interestingly, just as we fuel our bodies for performance on the slopes, what we eat daily—especially the types of sugars we consume—can significantly affect our energy levels, mood, and long-term health. This connects to a topic that impacts millions worldwide: sweet cravings and sugar cravings, and their role in childhood obesity.
Many people don’t realize that our reasons for craving sugar often extend beyond simple taste preference. While sugar provides a quick burst of energy, it also triggers dopamine release in the brain, creating a temporary sense of pleasure. Over time, this can develop into habitual…
As the season winds down on the trails and we soak up these last chances to glide, there’s something interesting to consider once the skis are back on the rack. After a long day of grooming, skating, or classic cruising, our bodies naturally crave comfort — but they also need smart nourishment to recover well. This connects to a broader theme many outdoor enthusiasts are thinking about right now: enjoying flavor without undoing all that hard-earned effort on the snow.
Interestingly, just as trail conditions depend on balance — not too icy, not too soft — the same idea applies to food choices. After physical activity, what we eat can either support recovery or weigh us down. While winter sports…

This is a very informative post! It reads much like high-quality local journalism where the focus is on facts, context, and the real experiences of people living in the area. The writing feels calm and structured, which makes the information easy to absorb.
It’s always valuable when updates highlight not just major events but also smaller stories that reflect the daily rhythm of a city. These details often say much more about the state of a community than big headlines ever could.
