The skiing is in here in Central VT.
Skiing is great out there. Our open terrain, nearly 20K will be groomed out fresh with fresh tracks set again this morning. The snow is really perfect out there well packed and chalk full of glide. We have all the gear rentals, equipment and trail advise you need to get out on Ole's Cross Country's trails. Come up and enjoy the snow. Ski shop and base lodge opens at 9AM. Come up and enjoy the snow, views and nice weather.

Trails are in great shape after another inch of snow overnight. We will have around 20KM of Trail for you to enjoy this morning, groomed out for both classic and skate skiing. All of open terrain will be groomed out fresh for you early this AM. Temps into the upper twenties. It looks like a perfect day for Cross Country Skiing and it looks like a nice long stretch of winter weather through the weekend and into next week. Come up and enjoy the excellent skiing conditions. Best skiing all year for you up here right now. The snow soup that was on the trails yesterday dried out nicely last night. Leaving the snow mostly alone yesterday was the ticket. The snow turned to a sugary powder. With another inch of ultra cold and dry powder that fell overnight the trails are grooming out beautifully. Conditions are excellent. Come up and ski. Will update in a bit with a detailed trail report once grooming is completed. Upwards of 20KM will be combed and tracked for your skis here in just a little bit. Ski shop may open a little bit later today to facilitate grooming. 10AM at the latest. Get up here and ski.
