We had a great day of sunny spring skiing yesterday. While the skies are a bit more cloudy today the temps are forecast to rise above freezing today by around mid to late morning and the spring skiing should be back on once again. Trails have been tilled up once again this last night and this morning. A nice loose granular in the skate lanes and the classic track should soften nicely a bit later.
Fresh snow in the forecast tonight into tomorrow with a nice lump of accumulating snow set to fall. Looks good for six inches or more. It is going to be another great day and weekend at Ole's. Get up here and enjoy the trails. Ski shop open today 9am-5pm.

It is going to be another excellent day here at Ole's XC. Abundant sunshine and abundant snow pack, groomed out for your skiing pleasure, will be the features for today. Core trails are being tuned up once again. Outer loop will be nice once the sun and rising temps have softened it a bit. The
skate lanes have been combed out and the beautiful classic track is holding strong. With just a little warming the entire trail system should be skiing sick .
Temps dipped back to the low teens again last night but will rebound dramatically into the mid thirties today. With that sun blasting away it will feel much warmer. Bring ze' sunblock and your sunglasses.
Come enjoy the amazing conditions. They are going to get even better as we are under a winter storm watch Friday into Saturday morning. Up to a foot of snow if it plays out right.

A beautiful mid February morning out there. The sun is out and the birds are singing away.
Trails are in great shape and the core trails have gotten a quick refresh this morning where needed. . The snow pack transitioned slightly to spring like yesterday. and currently things are firm but pliable out there. Rich in glide and highly edge able.
Last night I took a ski on some waxless skis. The classic track was just starting to refreeze and it was some real deal fun. Just hammering around those trails. My legs are sore this AM. A good hurt for sure.
Today the temps are supposed to hover just above freezing all day with sun set to shine. . It should be the perfect blend of grip and glide in the snow. Get up here the skiing will be really fun.
It looks like our snow potential for late today and tonight has fizzled out and it will stay to our south. Friday into the beginning of the weekend looks like a better shot at a snowy refresh.
