It is nicely cold out there this morning with temps in the middle teens. Things are forecasted to get into the mid twenties today and the sun is supposed to shine in full. It will be a perfect day to be up at Ole’s gliding around. We still have about 5KM of skiing for you to enjoy. The best skiing is around the Airpot loop and out on Trail #11 Rock n’ Roll. The Polofield and #3 are also open but have a few thin spots mainly just getting down into the Polofield. Either way we are psyched to still be skiing after that ridiculous rain storm. I took a skate ski last night and it sure was nice!
I hope that everyone can make it up to enjoy the trails this weekend.
Please Note: Please stay on the groomed trails only. Other trails are not open yet and our valuable land owners are not ready to have us out there quite yet. Please respect this and their generosity if you want to keep skiing there.
We are offering full services, including rentals and day tickets. All of the gear in stock is on sale prices so come up and check it out. It is a great time to get yourself into that new Nordic Ski Package.
See you up here.

We survived the melt down quite well and were left with some decent coverage. Especially considering the deluge we experienced. Trails #2, #3 and # 11 have all been groomed out with track set in most palces. Trails #2 around the airport field and #11 Rock n' Roll will be the best skiing. The Polo Field section of #2 as well as #3 have good skiing but there are some thin spots to negotiate. We are psyched to still have some skiing for you. The sun is out and the winds are light. It looks to be a beautiful winter day. See you up here.

Good morning,
That was quite the rain storm. It poured rain here in central VT for about 24 hrs straight. Needless to say the ground is pretty soggy as well as the the remaining snowpack. The good news is that the Airport and surrounding fields still look to have some decent coverage. The snwopack as well as the ground is exceptionally soggy and it needs to dry out..The temps need to also drop before we can do anything with the trails. Therefore the trails will be closed once again today. Looking good for getting some skiing going again at the center starting tomorrow.
Please stay off the trails. Any ski marks in the slush once we get a re freeze will be really tourgh to get out. We also got about an inch of snow on top that will go a long way in providing a good ski surface once a regroom happens.
Pretty good new considering the amount of rain we received and what I thought things would look like after this weather event. Ski shop closed today but will reopen tomorrow. Think snow!
