The rain the other night and warm windy weather yesterday did not completely wipe us free of snow on the trails. However it did not do the continuity of our snowpack any favors either. A determined skier could make a ski out of it. We need just a little fresh to call trails open and get the groomer out and grooming. Maybe tonight so think snow!

We had a soaking rain roll through last night and dump around 1/2" of rain on us. It took a toll on the trail system and we will assess trails starting tomorrow morning to see what or if we can open trails. Maybe some fresh coming in later in the week, so think snow!
December 15, 2024
Crispy and chilly out there this morning. -2 below zero at my house this AM. According to the weather dudes, It is going to warm right up and be in the upper twenties by around late morning. The air is nice and fresh and it sure is pretty out. Another goregeous sunny day to be up at Ole's gliding around. Trails #2,#3, and #11 Rock n' Roll are all open. The best skiing, once again, will be around the Airport and around #11 Rock n' Roll which has had fresh grooming this morning. See you up here.
