A Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone. Very peaceful, quiet and snowy white out there this Christmas morning. We will be open today starting at around 10AM. Skiing on around 15KM this morning. The inner core trails, #2, #3 and #11 have been re groomed fresh this morning and are looking excellent. Trail #5 through the fields and through the woods and #4 were rolled out yesterday and are nice in spots and a little thin in spots but very skiable. #5 woods between the farm fields and the bridge north fo #8/#12 junction is rough. I took the roller out to the big hay field above the #7A and #5 Junciton this mmornign and rolled a nice loop around 2-3 KM long. It looked pretty good out there. Keep your speed down on the downhills as there is no deep snow base to cushion any tumbles.
The skiing shoould be really great today so come up and enjoy it. Have a great holiday.

Good Morning,
About 3"-4" of fresh powder snow has fallen and it is a winter wonderland out there. Grooming is ongoing and should be wrapped up by around 10AM. All of the skiing we have been enjoying over the last few days is being re groomed and tracked and I have rolled out #5 through the woods and along East Warren Road. I also rolled out #7 out to #4 and rolled out #4 as well. All of the inner trails, #2,#3 and #11 should be skiing fantastic. #5 through the woods is good until the Bridge and on the rought side until you get to the farm fields. #5 along East Warren Road is pretty good but also thin in spots. Caution on the down hills on #5 and going across the fields as there was only about 6"'s of powder on top of no base. Advanced Intermediate. skiers only out there.

A very nice winter morning out there. Nice and cold with a solid 14 below at my house when I woke up this morning. Good to see the cold weather here in Central VT. Unlike yesterday the temps are forecast to get into the low twenties. With ample sunshine it will be an excellent day to come up and ski at Ole's! We are skiing on about 5KM of open terrain but with up to 6 inches of snow set to hit us tonight (fingers crossed, knock on wood all that stuff!) we anticipate being set up nicely for the rest of the Holiday Week. Come up and visit us!
Ole's will be open every day this week including Christmas Day 9AM-5PM. We hope to see you up here.
