We have about 5 KM of legit skiing that has enough cover that I am willing to actually call it open today. It is really nice in spots and a tad thin in spots. Trails include #2,#3 and # 11. All open trails have been gone over again with the groomer this morning. Nice to have something to ski around on!
#11 Rock n' Roll is probably the best overall with good to great coverage on most of it. Dress warm if you go out as it is about zero degrees out and there is a breeze. A high of only around 7 degrees today. Tomorrow looks like more civilized temperatures. Some potential fresh snow in thre forecast tomorrow night. Think Snow!

A happy Solstice and official start of winter to everyone. It is arriving with style as we scored about 4" of fresh powder snow overinght. It has allowed us to get some skiing going again! Trails #2,#3, and # 11 Rock n' Roll have been rolled out. I will also roll out the inside loop out front. The best skiing will be around the airport and on trail # 11 Rock n' Roll and the inside loop. The Polofield section of #2 and #3 are good in spots and thin in spots. Needless to say I am pumped to be able to provide some skiing to everyone after a quick break.
There are another round of snow squalls forecasted to move through this morning and dump another inch or two of snow. Every bit helps. We are offering full retail services today including day tickets, rentals and equipment sales.

Well once again the weather experts nailed it. Instead of the minimum 1"-3" of snow that was forecasted, we only got about 1/2" of icy slush on top of the trails. Not really enough to do anything with. The solid hour of rain that preceeded the icy slush storm has left things underneath soggy once again. Not exactly what we were hoping for.
Some chances for snow again this weekend and it looks to get good and cold starting tomorrow. It will be good to get the ground frozen and maybe get a little fresh snow on there. A few inches is all we need. It seems like a modest gift wish for Christmas.
In the mean time. The ski Shop is open daily from 9AM-4PM. We have a good selection of gear that is all on sale so come up and check it out.
