The temps started this morning at a very comfy 25 degrees. Feels quite tropical compared to the cold we have been experiencing lately. The skiing is really nice. Last night a quick skate ski around the center and then a late night BC tour was really sweet. Got to love that powda'
Trails are in nice shape and with the mid twenty temps this morning the conditions should be exceptionally glide rich and forgiving. Come up and enjoy these great conditions. Today and even tomorrow morning look great. A stretch of warm staring tomorrow afternoon but maybe some redemption at the end of this week? Time will tell.
We are skiing on 15KM+ of trails. All core trails, #2,#3 and #11 Rock n' Roll a basically choice. #5 in the fields is quite good considering the base depth and the loop out off of Repeat Hill is well worth the journey. #5 through the woods is a bit of an adventure between the bridge and the farm fields but the Southern Section is quite nice. #7 out to #4 is open and is pretty nice with a few thin spots. A real treat to have great skiing on Christmas week. Come enjoy it.

See you up here.

Today should prove to be a repeat of yesterday. The sun is out The rhime ice that formed in the night and is once again shining in the early hours of sunlight. Temps are cold to start but will be really nice today, in the mid twenties. We are skiing on around 15KM of trail. Touch up grooming this morning on the inner core trails. All of the inner core trails will ski great for both skate and classic skiing.
"It is gonna be a goooood day."
I will set track where possible along #5 East Warren Road and out to the big alternate loop in the hay field out off of Repeat Hill. That was skiing was really sweet out there and worth the trip. #7 out to #4 is pretty nice but a tad thin in spots. #5 in the woods is bony from the farm fields to the bridge south of the #12/#5 Junction. From there to the Airport has pretty good to great coverage considering the
amount of snow in there.
Come up and enjoy these trails over the next few days.
Ski shop on sale today. Lots of deals up here so come check it out.
We have a lot of rental gear for everyone one!

I hope everyone’s Christmas holiday was a good one. A happy first day (daytime) of Chanuka today to those who lit their first candle last night. The weather yesterday was about as nice as it gets. It stayed nice and cold (upper teens) but was really nice with that ample sun and the nice cold snow. It REALLY was gorgeous when that sun came through the clouds in the morning.
I took a classic ski around Ole’s trails last night and then a BC tour in the woods late into the night last night The snow was really awesome. Gotta love that powder snow. The stars were shining off the hook.
Today should prove to be a repeat of great sun and great skiing.
The inner core trails, #2, #3 and #11 will be re groomed fresh this morning and should be looking excellent. Trail #5 through the fields, #5 through the woods and #4 are rolled out and are nice in spots and a little thin in spots but very skiable. #5 woods between the farm fields and the bridge north of the #8/#12 junction is a bit bony but skiable. I took the roller out to the big hay field above the #7A and #5 Junction yesterday and rolled a nice loop around 2-3 KM long. It looks pretty good out there. Keep your speed down on the downhills as there is no deep snow base to cushion any tumbles. The skiing should be really great today so come up and enjoy it. See you up here. We will open the ski shop at 9AM today.
