A late evening grooming mission last night revealed a trail system's snow coverage fairy unaffected by the last few days weather events. The coverage is still excellent out there and skiers today will find great conditions to enjoy. The base is well consolidated and grooming is ongoing.
Last night I groomed and tracked up some of the outer core trails, like #7A,#7 out to the #4 loops and #5 through the woods. The rest is in the grooming process. Starting at the Ole's base and working outward I should have most of the core trails groomed up and ready for ripping in just a few hours. There are a few wet spots still draining, but only just a few. The snow should be a packed and combed out base, just full of good glide. Hope to see you all up here skiing today.

32 degrees and heavy freezing rain. Yuck! will be closed today to help us get through this rain and nastiness
And to help preserve the snowpack. Looking good to get things dialed back in again for another great weekend of skiing starting tomorrow Saturday. The Ski shop open today with abbreviated hours. Call with questions
Think snow !
The weather saga continues. We had a good shot of freezing rain and drizzle last night. However it looks to not have depleted our snowpack very much. Yesterday was probably the best skiing of the season thus far. It was about 30 degrees flat out all day. The skating was beautiful and the classic wax was working well.
Despite the drizzly night coverage still looks great. We will be open today and skiers will find spring like conditions to enjoy. Comfortable temps for skiing today. To conserve the snow, minimal if any trail grooming today. Maybe some fresh snow tomorrow?
Skiing is still good so come up and enjoy.
